Plans and pricing

The subscription is for the library, not the reader: a family, a school or a mosque subscribes once and invites its members, and member accounts are free.

Prices are set in US dollars; amounts in Egyptian pounds or Saudi riyals are an approximate conversion at a rate updated daily. You pay in dollars, or the equivalent in Egyptian pounds at the Central Bank of Egypt's rate on the day of payment.

In every plan

  • Scanning book and copy barcodes with the phone camera
  • Cabinets, shelves and the place of every copy
  • Lending, borrowing and due dates
  • Reading log, ratings, notes and quotes
  • Arabic search that ignores diacritics and hamza spellings
  • An app you install on your phone, in light and dark modes

Paid plans start with a free trial of 30 days. A yearly subscription costs ten months.

Payment is arranged by email for now: you send your request, we send you how to pay, and then we activate your library's subscription.

Frequently asked questions

How does the free trial work?

We create your library on the plan you chose and you use it for 30 days at no cost. If you want to continue, we arrange payment before the trial ends.

What happens when the subscription ends?

The library is suspended, not deleted: nobody can enter it and its data stays as it is, and it works again as soon as the subscription is renewed.

How do I pay?

There is no online payment on the site for now. Once we receive your request we write to you with the available way to pay, and then we extend your library's subscription.

Prices are set in US dollars (amounts in pounds or riyals are approximate), and you pay in dollars or the equivalent in Egyptian pounds at the Central Bank of Egypt's rate on the day of payment.

What happens if my library reaches its plan's limit?

Nothing is deleted and nothing you have stops working; only adding stops (a new copy, a new loan or inviting a member), and the app shows you a link to request an upgrade.

Can I move to a higher or a lower plan?

Yes, at any time: request the upgrade from the “plan” page inside the app, or write to us from the contact page, and we change your library's plan.

Who owns the data? Can I export it?

A library's data belongs to its owners. From the Family plan upwards you can export your books and readings at any time as a CSV file in Goodreads format or as Markdown files.

I'm a member of two libraries. Do I pay twice?

No. The account is free, and each library is covered by its own subscription.
